This event sells out each summer, so contact us early to secure your concert tickets! Concerts take place at the beautiful Herb Haffif Estate in the hills of LaVerne, CA four Saturdays in the Summer. (Usually July/August) The evening is a Magical Experience! The concerts feature live entertainment, catered appetizers & dinner by Walter’s Restaurant in downtown, Claremont, and a breathtaking outdoor amphitheater perched within a 150 acre woodsy back drop. If your looking for that perfect romantic summer evening or a family night to remember, this event is for you! Dance the night away with us at the 2010 Concert under the Stars!

6th Annual Megan Savage Memorial Run For A Cure 1K Kid’s Fun Run & 5K Run/Walk
To be held: Saturday, September 25th, 2010
8 – 11am at McCarthy Park in Upland, CA

On September 25th, 2010 Megan’s Wings will host their 6th Annual 5K Walk/Run and 1K Kid’s Fun Run in memory of Megan Savage who lost her life to Leukemia at the age of 9. This family event is so much more than a Running Event. The Savage Family keeps the event in September in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The morning activites include a spectacular raffle, free continental breakfast for all participants, and live entertainment bringing the Runners and Walkers back to the park.

Each participant can add their thumbprint to a special “Butterfly Banner” which Megan’s Wings takes to the Children’s Hospitals showing children with cancer how many people care and are making a difference! The morning events end with a beautiful and memorable “Live Butterfly Release” in memory of all loved ones who have lost their battle with cancer.

Over $30,000 was raised last year at this event, and a record 800 participants registered to Run or Walk in 2009. We look forward to see that number reach 1000 and our goal for 2010 is $40,000!
