Mission Statement
Megan’s Wings is a non-profit organization based in Upland, California and serves families in Southern California.
Megan’s Wings mission, our vision, is to operate an organization that makes a difference in the lives of children who are fighting cancer, and to provide support to the families and other primary caregivers who care and provide for these children. We focus our efforts in three main areas:
- Provide families and/or caregivers with financial and other support to face the economic difficulties that often result from caring for a critically ill child with cancer.
- Fund cutting edge research to find a cure for pediatric cancer.
- Serve as an advocate and resource in the community for children and their families fighting cancer.
The Foundation raises funds through gifts from individuals, events, corporate contributions & grants.
We carry out our mission through the following programs:
Patient Aid Program
Adopt-a-Family Program
Hospital Support Program
Funding to Research Programs:
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF)
Baylor College of Medicine (BCM)
