With the cost of gas at $6/gallon in Ca, many families living far from their child's treatment hospital, can't afford the gas to get their child to treatment multiple times per month.
Megan's Wings believes no child should miss a life saving doctor's appointment because their family cannot afford gas to get them there.
Our Gas Assistance Program works with eight SoCal Children's Hospitals to provide gas cards to vulnerable families who are struggling to get their child to treatment. Our Gas Program's budget is expected to more than double, and we need your help to raise the extra funds so we don't have to turn families away.

For the last 3 years, our Gas Program has helped 100 families yearly with a $50 gas card for 4 months ($200 assistance per family). With high gas prices this year, we increased assistance to $100/month ($400 assistance per family). In the first quarter of 2022, we helped 56 families through our gas program. We are expecting over 200 applications this year. Please help us raise the extra $60,000 to meet this critical need!
