Holiday Adoptions are Underway

Updated: Nov 28, 2023

Thank you MW's Supporters. You're the light our adopted families need this holiday season!

Megan's Wings has adopted 35 families for the holidays this year from 6 different hospitals and local businesses and individual sponsors are already busy spoiling them! We want to thank our amazing donors and volunteers who will help bring holiday joy and cheer to these deserving families! Many pediatric oncology parents miss work taking their child to weekly cancer appointments and care for them at home. Buying Christmas presents for their children becomes a hardship when income has been slashed, sometimes in half, and you're already struggling to pay rent. Megan's Wings is proud to work with local businesses, families, and organizations to provide Christmas gifts, and financial support to these families. Each family will receive a $300 gas and grocery grant to help offset extra expenses in December, and the children in each family receive gifts from their wishlist that will help bring smiles and offer hope after a difficult year. Care packages will be shipped to family's homes or delivered to their porch to help keep kids safe. It takes a small army of faithful givers to make this happen each year!

If you'd like to support an Adopted Families this year, consider making a one-time donation to help cover the cost of the $300 gas and grocery grants each family will receive. Every donation, big or small makes a difference.

It's a magical time of the year!

A happy family poses in their adorable sweaters and cute smiles after receiving beautifully wrapped Christmas gifts that were graciously delivered to their home last year by a MW's Adopted Family donor.

Thanks for submitting!
